The Hu Laboratory at Rutgers Cancer Institute, Rutgers University–New Brunswick invites applications for postdoctoral researchers to join our team investigating fundamental and translational questions in cancer biology. Our research centers on cancer metabolism, tumor microenvironment, tumor immunology, and tumor suppressor signaling. Current projects investigate:
1) the regulation and function of p53 and gain-of-function p53 mutants in cancer; and
2) how tumor suppressors, including p53 and its target genes, regulate cancer metabolism, tumor-immune interactions, and cancer cachexia.
