A well-established Specialty Retailer is searching for a Retail Store Director to join their team in NJ. The Retail Store Director will oversee all retail sales operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational excellence and delivering an exceptional customer experience across all retail channels.

• Lead, train and supervise retail staff across multiple locations.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Manage inventory, merchandising and product presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulatory procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Collaborate with ownership and senior management on planning and goal setting.
• Support marketing initiatives, special events, and community engagement.
• Implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and address labor challenges.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment in all retail locations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, agriculture or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑building skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with retail technology and POS systems.
• Customer‑focused, adaptable, ethical and results‑driven.
• Knowledge of sustainable agriculture and local food systems is a plus.
