Senior Account Executive
As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for building the PCS Software client base and procuring new business logos by contacting new prospects through cold calling, on‑site customer visits, and closing multi‑year licensing agreements. This requires strong product knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and consistent follow‑through to provide best‑in‑class service to our transportation and logistics customers.

This position is remote, with occasional use of our Saddlebrook, New Jersey office. Up to 25% scheduled regional travel is expected to meet clients on site and attend trade shows and customer events. A base salary plus a monthly commission structure provides a healthy total compensation package.
Responsibilities- Follow up with current lead opportunities and contact new prospects via outbound calling. You’ll receive ~40% of sales‑qualified opportunities from marketing, while sourcing ~60% of your own leads.
- Strategically build a strong pipeline to consistently meet quotas, with monthly commission payouts.
- Coordinate with Platform Engineers to schedule demonstrations of PCS platform features, and perform product demos as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the company’s ambassador, understanding clients’ transportation challenges and positioning PCS solutions as trusted partners.
- Identify decision makers, build relationships with key players, and generate interest to close deals.
- Document daily sales activity and update prospects and opportunities in
- Complete the full sales cycle—from initial contact through closing and client championing until implementation.
- 5+ years of direct and inside sales experience focused on small and medium transportation businesses.
- Proven track record of hunting and prospecting via outbound calling, face‑to‑face meetings, and industry events.
- 2+ years sales experience in Transportation or Logistics Software Sales, SaaS Sales, Platform Sales, or related technology sales.
- Consistently exceeded quota; no passive account inheritance.
- Strong pipeline, lead, and forecasting management with business math fluency.
- Proven solution selling over phone and in field, with persuasive closing techniques and formal sales methodology or demo training.
