The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Brunswick, NJ. This position is responsible for leading and developing a sales team, setting and monitoring sales targets, and creating strategies to drive revenue growth across skincare, haircare, and cosmetic product lines. The Sales Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and oversee key accounts to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
Day-to-day tasks include tracking sales performance, preparing forecasts and reports, collaborating with operations and marketing teams, and identifying new market opportunities. The role also involves coaching team members, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in sales management, including leading teams and overseeing account portfolios.
- Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and contract management with suppliers and customers.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, analyze performance metrics, and prepare accurate forecasts and reports.
- Familiarity with the beauty, skincare, haircare, or cosmetic industry, or related wholesale and distribution markets.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software to track pipelines, activity, and performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented, organized approach to work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work on-site in New Brunswick, NJ and occasionally travel to suppliers, customers, or company offices.
