As a Security Officer Patrol Response in New Brunswick, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site protocols, and assist with visitor guidance and general information.
* Support healthcare location operations by observing activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
