You verify measurements, set equipment, run lines, commission the system, and make sure the client understands their new setup. When surprises arise, your diagnostics are swift, your fixes solid, and your documentation meticulous.

What you’ll tackle

Own residential HVAC installations from kickoff to final walkthrough, serving as the on-site lead.

Install, maintain, and repair home comfort systems: furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.

Ensure every job meets local codes, manufacturer specs, and safety best practices.

Diagnose system issues and resolve them efficiently to keep timelines on track.

Deliver clear, professional customer communication and address questions with care.

Coach and mentor junior installers and apprentices to raise the team’s standard.

Record installation details, repairs, and service calls with accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate with teammates to hit schedule commitments and quality targets.

Your background

High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC-related certifications preferred.
3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.

Deep familiarity with HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

Sharp troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail.

Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Comfort working independently and collaboratively, as projects require.

EPA Universal or EPA Type
2.Where you’ll work Based in New Brunswick, NJ, you’ll support residential installations across the surrounding area.
