Ace Handyman Services helps homeowners love their homes again. We are hiring a Full-Time Craftsman/Handyman to handle a wide variety of residential repair, improvement, and small-to-medium complex projects throughout Central Jersey.

This position is ideal for a highly skilled tradesperson who enjoys diverse work, can solve problems independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

This is an hourly W-2 field position
. You are paid for hours worked, including job time,
drive time between jobs
, and material pickup time. Hours depend on booked work.

  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No weekends or emergency on-call shifts.
• Variety of Work: Handle everything from small repairs to more complex residential projects.
• Independence & Support: Manage your daily projects independently while our office handles marketing, booking, scheduling, and billing.

You’ll handle a broad range of residential projects, including:

• Carpentry: Trim installation, framing repairs, door and window adjustments
• Drywall: Patching, finishing, and full-wall repairs
• Painting: Interior painting, touch-ups, and refinishing
• Tile: Floor and wall tile installation, grout repairs, and shower tile work
• Flooring: Vinyl plank installation and subfloor repairs
• Plumbing: Fixture replacements, valve repairs, toilet installations, and leak diagnosis
• Electrical: Outlet and switch replacements, fixture installations, and minor troubleshooting
• Exterior Work: Deck repairs, siding fixes, and fence repairs
• Small-to-Medium Complex Projects: Bathroom refreshes, kitchen repairs, built-ins, custom carpentry, and multi-trade problem-solving

Document completed jobs and track materials using our digital system

• 10+ years of proven professional experience as a carpenter, craftsman, or general handyman
• Solid practical knowledge in at least three core trade areas
  , such as carpentry, drywall, painting, tiling, basic plumbing, or basic electrical
• A truck or van suitable for transporting tools and materials
• Your own standard set of professional hand and power tools
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, explain repair processes, and provide great service
