Soccer Specialist – Summer Day Camp

Join Oak Crest Day Camp as a Soccer Specialist during the summer season. This role provides an opportunity to teach soccer fundamentals to campers aged 3‑15, while fostering a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment.

• Ensure safety of campers and team members in and out of the area
• Enforce all rules and regulations
• Daily supervision of the area
• Group supervision of campers with attention to behavior and group management, health, safety, security, and personal and skill development
• Daily instruction to campers between the ages of 6 and 15 with different ability levels
• Use effective management skills to lead the activity and effectively create an inclusive and fun environment
• Motivate campers by creating fun for them in your activity (e.g., songs, games, cheers, etc.)
• Encourage creativity and critical thinking
• Work effectively with fellow Activity Specialists and Counselors; collaborate on daily responsibilities
• Serve as a positive role model to campers
• Able to work outside, upright and mobile for six (6) to eight (8) hours per day
• Outstanding communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise and grammatically correct written and oral language in all aspects of professional interaction with campers, their families, peers, leadership team and the larger community
• 2 – 4 years experience (required)
• Reports directly to and takes direction from the Athletics Division Head.

Pay rate is $40 per half hour for extended hours lessons.

June 29 – August 21 (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am–4:15 pm). No camp Friday July 3.

Franklin Township, NJ. Campers and staff come from throughout the surrounding region.
