Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: SPARCS Facilitator provides structured, trauma-informed group services to youth and adolescents experiencing stress, trauma, or emotional challenges, using the SPARCS evidence-based and program curriculum.
- SPARCS Facilitator manages groups, including following program curriculum and guidelines and documenting each youth’s progress in the sessions through case notes.
- SPARCS Facilitator will address the needs of the youth receiving services.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field with experience related to selected instructional topics
- Experience providing group facilitation, skill-building sessions, or therapeutic style groups preferred
- Prior work with youth and at-risk youth is strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage group dynamics, maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to maintain accurate documentation
- Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
