Transdev in New Carrollton, MD is hiring a Reservationist for the WMATA Call Center to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

Pay- $21 - $36.60 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
- Starting pay $21 with progression to $36.60 over 7 years.
- Vacation: 5 days per year with progression to 20 days per year
- Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours yearly full‑time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full‑time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.
- Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
- Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
- Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
- Communicate late vehicle service and verify "No Shows" with customers.
- Resolve service‑related complaints.
- Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
- Work is accomplished indoors in air‑conditioned or well‑ventilated facilities.
- Sit, type, and look at a computer for extended periods (up to 6–9 hours per day).
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in written correspondence.
- Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
- Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
