Staff Accountant
Our logistics client in New Castle, Delaware is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated staff accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with financial reporting and account analysis
- Help ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members across finance and accounting on special projects as needed
