POSITION: Support Pool Secretary II (Reported Time - not benefited position)
LOCATION: This position would not be assigned to a permanent location. The position would be placed at a location contingent upon need and will be moved to various locations throughout the district to cover for absences and shortages. It is possible that a person would be working in a different location every day of a week.
REPORTS TO: School Administrator(s)

SALARY: Commensurate with reported time salary schedule
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with filing procedures and office machines
- Computer skills or willingness to acquire
- Ability to follow directions
- Demonstrated cooperative attitude
- Demonstrated good attendance record (school or employment)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to function with changes and flexible conditions and duties
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs typing assignments, e.g. correspondence, labels, bulletins, rosters, reports
- Opens, sorts, prioritizes mail, and other forms of communication, i.e. operating telephone system, receiving and making phone contacts, follows oral and written instructions.
- Performs receptionist duties for designated administrator(s) and responds to requests for information/assistance.
- Maintains record and files. (Manual and automated)
- Distributes office and instructional supplies and equipment within the building
- Operates appropriate office equipment.
- Receives, counts, and secures money, and records transactions as assigned by the administrator(s).
- Assumes responsibility for tasks involved with the coordinator of substitute assignments.
- Develops methods and procedures for effective performance of duties.
- Exercises good judgment and confidentiality in conformance with district policy.
- Performs related secretarial-level duties, as assigned by administrator(s).
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
