Position: Associate, Payment Oversight

Role Overview

Associate, Payment Oversight will support the ongoing execution and monitoring of business controls and quality processes within the Payment Strategy team, partnering with stakeholders to address emerging risks and support remediation efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Support the execution, maintenance, and monitoring of existing business controls to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
  • Assist with documenting processes, risks, and controls, and update policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update issue, control, and remediation documentation in alignment with internal standards (e.g., Archer, Policy Tech).
  • Support issue remediation efforts, including documenting issues, tracking progress, and maintaining updates in Archer.
  • Execute recurring control checks and validations (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Perform data analysis to identify exceptions or anomalies in payment activity.
  • Support audit and Business Controls Office (BCO) requests by gathering documentation and evidence.
  • Work with cross‑functional partners on process improvements and control enhancements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Finance, Business, Engineering, or Science).
  • Understanding of business processes, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
  • Exposure to systems and tools used for process documentation and control management (e.g., Archer, Policy Tech).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalte control gaps and support remediation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings to peers and leadership.
  • Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Experience supporting payments processing, payment operations, or payment‑related risk/control activities.
  • Understanding of business processes, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in internal controls, audit, risk management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting issue management, remediation tracking, or audit engagements.
  • Exposure to control documentation or testing within a regulated environment.
