MEP Superintendent

The MEP Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all field activities related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes. This individual will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, engineers, and ownership to ensure seamless integration of systems throughout the project lifecycle. Client Details A well-established and growing construction management firm is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to join its team in Wilmington, Delaware.

This role is critical to the successful execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Description Manage day-to-day on-site MEP operations across all project phases Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence and quality performance Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and constructability Lead MEP coordination meetings with project stakeholders Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts and coordination issues Ensure all MEP installations comply with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company standards Monitor project schedules and provide updates on MEP progress Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews Support commissioning, testing, and turnover processes Collaborate with project management on budgeting, procurement, and change management Profile 7+ years of experience in construction with a focus on MEP systems Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent or Senior MEP Foreman on commercial projects Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and installation practices Ability to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Familiarity with project scheduling tools and construction management software OSHA certification preferred Job Offer Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and holidays Opportunity to work on high-profile regional projects Collaborative and growth-oriented team environment MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
