Wilmington University is seeking an Adjunct Professor specializing in Artificial Intelligence for an on-site, full-time role based in New Castle, DE. Key responsibilities include teaching and developing curricula for AI-focused courses, mentoring and advising students in academic and practical applications of AI, and staying current with advancements in AI technologies. Additional duties may involve participating in departmental activities, fostering innovative learning experiences, and maintaining academic excellence aligned with the university’s vision.

• Strong proficiency in Artificial Intelligence concepts, Machine Learning, and Data Science methodologies
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R and familiarity with AI tools and frameworks
• Teaching or training experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students
• Proven ability to develop and implement course content, with a focus on cutting‑edge technologies and industry trends
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff in a professional academic environment
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field is required
• Prior experience in higher education or contributions to AI-related publications or projects is a plus
