Full‑time Special Education Teaching position at Caesar Rodney High School for Vocational Studies. Caesar Rodney High School is a grade 9‑12 high school with approximately 2,200 students.
The Vocational Studies program prepares students with special needs to become self‑sufficient, active members of the community. Vocational English, math, writing, and job/life skills are included in the curriculum.
Individuals who are eligible or possess Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification are encouraged to apply. Candidates must also be certified in a secondary content area (ELA, Math, or Science).
QUALIFICATIONSApplicants must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities and a secondary content area (ELA, Math, or Science). Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful Praxis II scores or a valid out‑of‑state teaching license.

SALARYIn accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.
PRE‑EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS- Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment is required to provide: proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I‑9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
