Electromechanical Technician

Electromechanical Technician New Castle, DE | Full-Time

We’re hiring an Electromechanical Technician to support product development, testing, prototype builds, and manufacturing activities. This is a hands‑on technical role ideal for someone with experience in electrical/mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting.

• Build, assemble, modify, and maintain electromechanical prototypes and test equipment
• Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and cable fabrication
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems
• Use multimeters, power supplies, and other electrical test equipment
• Read and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Assist engineers with product development and testing
• Support pilot builds and the transfer of new products into manufacturing
• Document testing, repairs, and technical findings
• Safely operate laboratory and manufacturing equipment

• Approximately 2+ years of hands‑on electromechanical experience
• Associate degree, technical diploma, or vocational training in Electromechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Experience with wiring, soldering, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Experience using digital multimeters and power supplies
• Oscilloscope experience is a plus
• Comfortable using mechanical assembly and basic fabrication tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills for documentation and reporting
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams
