Position: Live Events Production Manager

Live Events Production Manager

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Live Events Production Manager for a rapidly growing event production company. This is an onsite opportunity based in New Castle, Delaware, with travel required as needed for live events and productions.

Position Overview

The Live Events Production Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex live event productions from concept through completion. This highly visible leadership role serves as a key liaison between clients, executive leadership, sales teams, technical departments, and operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong production expertise, operational leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of live event production, including planning, budgeting, logistics, execution, and post-event reconciliation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing project communications, site visits, show advances, and production planning.
  • Develop and oversee project timelines, labor plans, budgets, and operational workflows to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across production, warehouse, transportation, technical, and sales departments.
  • Direct on-site event execution, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and overall production performance.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience managing complex live event and technical production projects from concept through execution.
  • Strong understanding of staging, lighting, audio, video, logistics, labor planning, and event operations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent productions in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication, organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and event-related hours as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
