The Loan Doc & Proc Assoc Analyst is a developing professional role that identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. It integrates established disciplinary knowledge within its specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices and how the team interacts with others to achieve objectives. The role develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards, exchanges information concisely, and is sensitive to audience diversity.

- Manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process.
- Process and close loans within a complex loan operations environment, including day‑to‑day transactional processing, booking cash transactions, making payments, loan reconciliations, general ledger entries, and complex calculations.
- Interact with counter parties regarding positions, outstanding balances, and claims.
- Support a diverse array of products and services in risk and control.
- Follow established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation and processing that require investigation or research.
- Recommend process improvements to management.
- Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through technical experience and precedents.
- Design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for management requirements, support/control activities, and product/service launches.
- Make evaluative judgments based on factual analysis and assist in implementing process improvements.
- Minimize risk by monitoring errors, suggesting solutions to reduce errors, and ensuring compliance with audit and control policies.
- Manage and, if necessary, expedite all requests and issues related to loan processing.
- Interact directly with external customers to disseminate or explain information.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of products and processes and understand how duties relate and integrate with the team and closely related teams.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of bank‑related systems.
- Use communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders while handling potentially complex or sensitive information and respecting audience diversity.
- Exhibit executional capabilities appropriate for this level.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding the firm’s reputation and adhering to laws, rules, regulations, corporate policy, and ethical standards while escalating, managing, and reporting control issues transparently.
- 0‑2 years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in the loan process.
- Understanding of loan processes, procedures, products, and services.
- General awareness of preparing, managing, and reviewing loan documentation.
- Ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
- Awareness of risk types, policies, control measures, and related processes.
- Compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and corporate policies.
Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
