This position is located within the DHSS Grants unit and is responsible for pre-award setup of grants, budget preparation and transfers, clearinghouse processes, and post-award grant activities. The role involves conducting fiscal studies, analyzing financial data, monitoring program expenditures for compliance, and may include supervising two or more merit full-time positions.
Key qualifications- Four years' experience in compiling, analyzing, and reporting on financial data OR a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Six months' experience in financial administration including comprehensive budget analysis and financial planning
- Two years' experience in planning, designing, and conducting fiscal management studies
- Two years' experience analyzing financial problems and recommending solutions to management
- Proficiency with computer software including financial modeling software and automated information systems
