My client are seeking a technical specialist to anchor their modern cloud integration platform. This role is a deep dive into SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), where you will be fully responsible for designing, building, securing, and operating all critical iFlows connecting S/4

HANA with internal systems and external partners. If you are an expert in Groovy scripting, API management, and turning business processes into reliable integration contracts, we want to hear from you.

The Mission:
Design, Build, and Optimize CPI Integrations

You will own the technical integration delivery from concept to production, ensuring performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

• Solution Design & Development:
  Design and deploy robust iFlows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), leveraging API-led and event-driven patterns across protocols like REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP.
• Coding & Customization:
  Write efficient, maintainable Groovy scripts for complex mappings, validations, and custom exception handling. (Proficiency in ABAP for S/4
  
  HANA proxies/BAPIs is a strong plus.)
• API Governance:
  Publish and secure APIs using SAP API Management, enforcing critical policies like OAuth2/JWT, caching, and traffic shaping across development life cycles.
• S/4
  
  HANA Data Integrity:
  Align solutions with SAP data models, including IDocs, BAPIs, Business Events, and CDS, ensuring high-quality, secure data flow between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Delivery & Operations:
  Own L2/L3 integration support, leverage CPI monitoring and logging, and manage transports using BTP Transport Management Service (TMS) and CI/CD pipelines.

This is a hands-on role requiring specific technical depth in the modern SAP integration stack.

• Experience:
  
  5-7 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production-grade SAP and non-SAP integrations, specifically using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Technical Stack:
  Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting is mandatory. Solid grasp of middleware protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, JSON, XML).
• BTP Foundations:
  Working experience with SAP Cloud Connector, Destinations, XSUAA, secure credential management, and optimizing CPEA consumption.
• Integration Patterns:
  Deep understanding of patterns like request/reply, pub/sub, orchestration, and reliable delivery.
• Certifications:
  
  Certification in SAP BTP Integration Suite is highly preferred.
• Communication:
  Excellent ability to translate complex technical integration topics to mixed business and functional audiences (Finance, IS-U, EAM, HR).
