R&E Excavation LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee multiple residential construction crews, with a specialized focus on swimming pool construction. This role combines high-level project oversight with hands‑on leadership and requires someone confident enough to innovate and challenge the status quo in pursuit of productivity, quality, and profitability. As the liaison between field operations and office leadership, you’ll play a crucial role in driving success across our construction projects.

Manage and oversee 3–4 field crews across all phases of residential construction.
Create and maintain construction schedules and project planning documentation.
Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety compliance.
Read and interpret blueprints specific to pool and residential construction.
Track labor and materials to ensure projects remain within budget and profitable.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and managing expectations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and local officials.
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and margins.
Mentor and train crew leads and field staff as needed.
QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in construction (residential preferred).
Strong project management skills, including estimating and scheduling.
Deep understanding of swimming pool construction processes is preferred.
Proficient in blueprint reading and construction schematics.
Ability to lead, delegate, and train crews while remaining hands‑on when needed.
Excellent communication skills, both internally and with clients.
Valid driver’s license required.
