Company Manager

Hallmarkish – U.S. National Tour

Lead the People. Drive the Operations. Launch the Tour.

Following a successful inaugural season in Toronto, Hallmarkish – The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Holiday Musical Parody is expanding across the United States with its inaugural U.S. tour.

We are seeking an exceptional Company Manager to join the tour leadership team and help bring this fast‑paced holiday production to audiences across the country.

This role serves a leader alongside the PSM and is ideal for a theatre professional who enjoys leading people, solving complex logistical challenges, building strong presenter relationships, and creating an exceptional experience for both company members and audiences.

As the Producer's representative on the road, the Company Manager will play a critical role in shaping the culture, operations, and overall success of the tour.

About the Role

The Company Manager works cohesively with the Production Stage Manager on daily operations. They help lead the touring company and work closely with key stakeholders such as Producers, presenters, venues, and company members to ensure the successful execution of each engagement.

This position oversees travel logistics, company care, settlements, payroll administration, and presenter relations while fostering a positive, professional, and supportive company culture.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, solutions‑oriented, and energized by the unique challenges and rewards of life on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Company Leadership & Culture

  • Serve as the primary company leader and establish a positive, respectful, inclusive, and professional culture throughout the tour.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for all touring company members.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and workplace expectations.
  • Act as a trusted resource for cast, crew, musicians, and creative personnel throughout the engagement.
  • Support company morale, communication, and overall well‑being while maintaining professionalism and accountability.

Tour Operations

  • Coordinate and oversee all tour travel logistics, including flights, buses, trains, hotels, and ground transportation.
  • Manage company housing and accommodation arrangements throughout the tour.
  • Work closely with presenters and venue representatives to ensure smooth execution of each engagement.
  • Maintain tour schedules, operational records, reports, and documentation.
  • Anticipate operational challenges and implement proactive solutions.
  • Administer payroll and share with head office for processing & finalization.
  • Audit nightly box office statements and attendance reports.
  • Prepare and finalize engagement settlements.
  • Ensure adherence to booking agreements and financial obligations.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for Producers and management.

Human Resources & Company Care

  • Serve as the Human Resources representative for the touring company.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Monitor active insurance matters and claims as required.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and healthy work environment.
  • Exercise professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.

Presenter & Venue Relations

  • Serve as a primary representative of the production with presenters, venue management, and local partners.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships in each market.
  • Support venue advance work and operational communications as required.
  • Ensure local engagement requirements are fulfilled professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1–3 years of Company Management, Tour Management, Production Management, or comparable live entertainment management experience.
  • Strong understanding of touring operations, logistics, and company management practices.
  • Experience working with presenters, venues, settlements, and box office reporting.
  • Must have strong knowledge of excel and credit card reconciliation processes. Experience with Expensify and Master Tour is a plus.
