Position: TruVolt Brands - Warehouse General Manager - New Castle, Delaware

Tru Volt Brands (Snow Joe & Jetson) is looking for a driven, highly successful Warehouse General Manager to join its dynamic and growing team of top professionals that manufacture and sell DTC and B2B, state-of-the-art home, garden and landscaping equipment. Think green! Think electric and battery powered snow blowers, lawnmowers, pressure washers and chainsaws. Tru Volt carries over 700 products, all of the Snow Joe brands () and recently acquired Jetson (), which currently produces the number 1 selling e-bicycle in the US.

Our Site:
We are a Distribution and Manufacturing center – a fast-paced, dual-mission operation that moves both consumer goods and makes product on-site. On any given day the site receives ocean containers and dump trucks of finished consumer goods and raw materials. The raw materials are turned into finished products through full production process.

The General Manager is responsible for the Warehousing and Distribution portion of the operation. This includes outbound B2B and eCommerce fulfillment to a customer base that runs from big-box retailers to individual end consumers. Inventory is managed through RF scanning and bin-location tracking with weekly cycle counting. The equipment fleet is broad and heavy: electric pallet jacks and ride-ons, forklifts, turret truck, and reach trucks.

This is a rebuild. We are hiring a General Manager to lead the site through a period of restructuring — resetting standards, restoring team morale, and building a high-performance operation from the ground up. This is a hands-on turnaround leadership role, not a caretaker seat.

The Role

As General Manager, you hold overall accountability for site — safety, service, cost, and people. You set site strategy, goals, and KPIs; and you are the final escalation point and cross-functional decision authority on the floor. You directly manage the Operations Managers and Supervisors, and through them the receiving, put-away, inventory, outbound, and facilities functions.

What makes this role different from a steady-state site lead is the mandate: you are expected to diagnose what's broken, restructure how the site is organized and staffed, rebuild trust and morale across a workforce that today leans heavily on temp labor, and stand up a durable, high-performing permanent team. You'll do it while the site keeps shipping.

What You'll Own Site Leadership & Accountability
  • Total site accountability — safety, service, cost, and people across all shifts and both the distribution side of the house.
  • Strategy & KPIs — set the site's operating goals and the metrics that track them; make the numbers visible and hold the team to them.
  • Budget & P&L ownership — own the site's financials, including the labor model and the shift from temp-heavy to a stable permanent workforce.
  • Decision authority — serve as the escalation point and cross-functional tiebreaker for the site leadership team.
Turnaround & Change Management
  • Lead the restructure — assess the current org, roles, and staffing plan; redesign for accountability and throughput; sequence the change so the site keeps running.
  • Rebuild morale & culture — re‑establish trust, clear expectations, and a sense of ownership on the floor; reduce reliance on agency labor by developing and retaining permanent talent.
  • Build the team bottom-up — coach the Operations Manager, strengthen the lead/supervisor layer, and build bench strength through cross-training and clear development paths.
  • Change communication — bring associates along through the change rather than around them; make the 'why' clear and the wins visible.
Operations & Production
  • Distribution execution — receiving, verify and put-away to racking or bulk bins, RF‑based inventory accuracy, weekly cycle counts, and outbound across wholesale, and eCommerce.
  • Manufacturing & blending — keep the lines running safely and efficiently; drive uptime, quality, and yield on finished goods.
  • Labor planning — own the volume‑to‑headcount model and tiered staffing triggers; flex the workforce to demand, including peak‑season third‑shift coverage.
Safety, Compliance & Facility
  • OSHA & safety program — own site OSHA compliance, inspections, corrective…
