Maintenance Technician

Our client, manufacturer of specialty mineral and chemical additives is seeking maintenance technicians to join their team.

* ** Pay Range: $25-$30*
* ** Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings.

+ Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical problems. Observes machines in operation and uses diagnostic skills to locate and make repairs.

+ Conducts equipment repairs in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.

+ Performs light fabrication and welding as needed.

+ Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner, and identifies opportunities for improvement.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills.

+ Millwright experience

+ Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

+ Forklift Certified or experience.

+ Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
