Vital Core Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care has an opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in New Castle, DE for a Full‑Time Night Shift. We offer the following shift differential:
Weekday (Mon‑Fri) 3p‑11pm $3.25, 11p‑730a $4.75;
Weekend (Sat/Sun) 3p‑11pm $3.00, 11p‑730a $3.50;
Nights 7p‑7:30a $4.50.
PRN pay rates differ from full/part‑time employees.
PRN staff must be available for onsite orientation for at least 3–4 weeks.

Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) Schedule
- Full‑time Night Shift (12‑hour shift 7p‑7:30a). Must be available for onsite orientation for at least 3–4 weeks.
- Rotating Weekends.
Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimum Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
- Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Successful completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.
