Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Pay Rates:

• Quality Technician I: $21.25/hour
• Quality Technician II: $22.75/hour
• Quality Technician III: $23.75/hour

• Lead problem solving resulting in effective countermeasures to quality issues.
• Implement resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
• Exercise judgment within procedures and practices in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.
• Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
• Lead team in adherence and improvement to Quality Control Plans and mistake proofing.
• Conduct process and product audits to ensure team members are following standardized operating procedures and adhering to all quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve design, supplier, or production quality issues.
• Support facility in gage/tool calibration and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).
• Adhere to all company policies, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in MRB review and corrective actions.

• Quality Technician I:
  High School diploma or equivalent, 0-3 years of quality experience.
• Quality Technician II & III:
  Associate’s degree or 3+ years of quality experience.

• Maintain a professional rapport with support groups and peers while achieving results.
• Lead communication to team members reviewing quality metrics and progress of countermeasures/projects.
• Support communication to Supervisor of issues impacting quality with appropriate countermeasures.
• Perform reading, writing, and math functions.
• Basic drawing, wiring, and schematic interpretation skills.
• Intermediate PC knowledge.
• Intermediate knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Quality Control Plans, mistake proofing, Nonconforming Material Reports (NMR), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and ISO Quality System processes.
• Knowledge in CMM programming and processes – applicable to Quality Technician II & III.
• Ability to train others – applicable to Quality Technician II & III.

• Quality Technician I:
  Associate’s degree and/or Certified Quality Technician preferred.
• Quality Technician II & III:
  Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or Certified Quality Technician.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25-50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
