Food Ingredients Business Unit
Our Food Ingredients business develops innovative ingredient solutions that enhance taste, texture, nutrition, and performance for a wide range of food applications. Where You'll Make a Difference
- Perform chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support product quality and lot release
- Execute laboratory analyses (e.g., viscosity, sieve analysis, moisture content, titration) using approved methods and standard operating procedures
- Document and report results in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Support investigations related to Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), and non-conformance events
- Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements (FDA/USDA), and internal quality standards
- Maintain laboratory equipment through calibration, verification, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Quality teams to resolve issues and support production timelines
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen food safety and quality systems
What Makes You the Right Fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific field
- 1-2 years of laboratory experience in food environments
- Knowledge of chemical testing techniques and laboratory instrumentation
- Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and data integrity principles
- Experience documenting laboratory results and supporting investigations
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with LIMS systems (e.g., Soft Trace or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
