MH Operation Lead

Overview

The Hub Operations Lead is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations and workflow of all HUB functions, including execution of store Hub order fulfillment, inventory control, and related processes. The role may lead one or more team members (Hub Inventory Specialists and HUB drivers) and requires strong knowledge of store systems, basic parts knowledge, interpersonal skills, and prior leadership experience.

• Oversee Hub operations and resolve Hub orders and processes in a timely manner.
• Provide direction, organize, delegate work, and ensure execution related to leading Hub team members.
• Review Hub orders, pull parts, stage product, and finalize paperwork.
• Communicate with internal and third‑party drivers on paperwork and instructions.
• Engage store–facility network to determine part sourcing and logistics solutions; work with ordering store for fulfillment options.
• Work with GM, DM, and CSC support for proper inventory mix and levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, shrink results, cycle counts, and other inventory functions.
• Manage and comply with all Hub records and paperwork policies.
• Urgently communicate any risks or concerns regarding order fulfillment or shipments to the appropriate store leaders.
• Lead stocking activities from replenishment orders, including scanning in product and ensuring completion within 24 hours.

• Perform additional inventory activities such as overstocks, callbacks, and resets.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Assist with front room inventory functions, cores, and defects.
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
• Assist as needed with MOD and other store‑related actions.

• Competent oral and written communication; basic math computations.
• Prior retail experience, including merchandising and inventory management.
• Ability to operate inventory systems and store equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand jack).
• High attention to detail.

Inventory management in a retail environment or logistics center of operations.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

None.

Predominantly walking or standing; capable of talking, hearing, using hands and fingers; lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Requires close, distance, color vision and depth perception.

Work is usually inside but may be outside; exposure to varying weather conditions; occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is moderate.

• Position is full time.
• MVR certification may be required.
• Complete all training materials and attend all store meetings.
• Ability to work short notice and flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Immediately report to General Manager and/or District Manager any violation of company policy or procedure.
