Waste Connections is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth in our Transportation & Warehousing waste services portfolio. In this field-based role, you will manage a multi-site territory, prospect and close new commercial and industrial accounts, and expand services with existing customers. You will collaborate closely with operations to ensure safe, reliable service, track performance in CRM, and represent our safety-focused, community-minded culture while delivering sustainable, long-term solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a defined sales territory in the transportation and waste services market
- Prospect, qualify, and close new commercial and industrial accounts
- Expand services and revenue with existing customers through consultative selling
- Develop proposals, bids, and contracts aligned with pricing and margin targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity records in CRMPartner with operations to ensure safe, reliable service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and local opportunities
- Represent Waste Connections at community and industry events
- Collaborate with local leadership to execute territory sales strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales and profitability goals
