Environmental Scientist II - Ambient Monitoring
This Environmental Scientist II is a mid-level position in the Air Monitoring group. They will assist in all aspects of technical support and will work closely with group managers to operate the State's air monitoring network. The incumbent will help to develop solutions to analytical problems, verify and correct issues, and validate the performance of new and existing monitoring equipment. They will be responsible for operating continuous sample collection and collecting field samples throughout the year and must be able to work outdoors.
They will work with the Quality Assurance group as needed to assist with the planning, design, execution, and analysis of special air monitoring studies. The ESII will perform Level 1 Quality Assurance of data collected at assigned sites.
