As a Security Officer Routine Patrol in New Castle, DE

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour
Job Schedule- Wed: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Thur: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Fri: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Sat: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Sun: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor movement in accordance with location protocols, helping to support orderly operations and security-related awareness.
- Assist with de-escalation support, incident documentation, and communication during behavioral health-related situations while maintaining professionalism and respect for patient privacy.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
