LEAD MECHANIC

Shift Schedule

• Standard shifts begin at 5/6 AM- 2:00 PM
• 8-hour workdays with occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Industrial Mechanic to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial laundry equipment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to guide and support team members while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance on commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Lead and assist with equipment repairs and part replacements
• Supervise and support entry-level mechanics and technicians
• Conduct inspections to ensure machines operate safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow and enforce all safety procedures and company guidelines
  
  Coordinate repair priorities and communicate equipment status to management

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong mechanical skills; technical training preferred
• Prior experience with commercial laundry equipment preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a hands‑on environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
