Delivery Helper

Overview

We’re hiring Delivery Helpers to support our Box Truck Drivers in New Castle, DE
. In this full-time role, you’ll ride alongside a driver in a 16-foot box truck and help load, unload, and deliver packages to homes and businesses. You’ll also serve as an extra set of eyes on the road—helping with navigation, spotting obstacles, assisting with backing up, and improving route efficiency.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced job that requires strong communication, situational awareness, and teamwork.

• Assist with loading and unloading packages
  , using hand trucks and safety gear provided
• Deliver packages up to 72 lbs and assist with heavier packages using proper team-lifting techniques
• Ride alongside the driver as a spotter and navigator
  —help monitor surroundings, and assist with parking and backing
• Support the driver by confirming addresses
  , keeping pace, and staying organized
• Climb stairs, navigate tight spaces, and work in all types of weather
• Ensure every delivery is handled with professionalism and care
• Communicate clearly with the driver and report any safety concerns or delivery issues

• What You’ll Do
• Be 18 years or older
• Be physically able to lift and move packages throughout the shift
• Be alert, reliable, and confident in giving clear instructions while on the road
• Bring strong communication skills
  , situational awareness, and a team-first mindset
• Be able to work in various weather conditions and handle stairs or narrow walkways
• Stay focused and support your driver from start to finish

Compensation: $17.00/hour paid weekly. Performance bonuses are available.
