Equipment Operator – Reach Truck Operators

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Equipment Operators (Forklift/Hi-Lo REACH TRUCK experience) in the New Castle, DE area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with stable schedules for picking, orders and to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials. Available Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (potential for 2nd shift openings)

Responsibilities:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks: forklifts, electric pallet jacks and Hi/Lo Reach Trucks to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as required
• Adhere to the Client 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Work in a hot or cold warehouse environment
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
• Perform inbound receiving process

Desired Background/

Skills:

• 1 year of warehouse equipment operator experience
• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks (HI/Lo REACH TRUCK and Forklift experience)
• Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. to lift objects of various shapes, sizes
• Move materials placed on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• High School diploma or equivalent
