Warehouse Associate

Overview

Hours:

7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri or with OT. Saturdays as needed.

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Location:

600 Grantham Lane New Castle, DE 19720

Under the direction of the Manager Operations and/or Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, logistical planning and assisting with general warehouse duties.

• Receive direct container shipments
• Pick, pack and ship truckload & less than truckload shipments daily
• Order management
• Warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Inventory control
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees, customers, owners and vendors.
• Understand and follow all safety policies.
• Stage and label product.
• Maintain Work Practices:
• Maintain work environment to 5S standards
• Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time
• All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately
• Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers
• Other projects as assigned

• Education: High school degree or equivalent
• Experience: Forklift driving experience and certification
• Other Requirements: Basic computer skills
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:
  Word, Excel and Outlook
