Materials Service Assistant III hour shifts​/Evening

Job Summary

Christiana Care is seeking a full‑time Service Assistant III Material Picker to accurately pick and pack customer supply orders for delivery to hospital supply locations and off‑site facilities in a manner that meets department standards for safety, security, and efficiency.

• Fulfills customer supply orders via pick ticket with proper documentation.
• Handles supplies and equipment to ensure sterility and infection control.
• Packs and transports filled orders to the outbound area for transshipment.
• Loads and unloads shipments and internal transport supply carts from delivery trucks.
• Stages inbound shipments and transport carts/totes in appropriate areas.
• Transports inventory products from the receiving platform to the appropriate warehouse locations.
• Restocks supplies in appropriate warehouse shelve/bin locations using accurate rotation, organization, identification, and documentation.

Sunday: 1 pm to 11:30 pm;
Monday–Wednesday: 3:30 pm – 2 am.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of relevant experience in Warehouse Operations.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

• Unavoidable noise, dust and dirt in a busy hospital environment.

• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs of supplies.
• Ability to push a cart with a maximum of 250 lbs of stock supplies.

Starting rate of $18.08 per hour. After six months of continuous employment, hourly rate increases to $21.15; after one year, increases to $22.18.
