Warehouse Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Kent, Washington on a day shift. The position is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing is a full‑service, wholesale‑only distributor serving the marine and RV industries for over 50 years.

• Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
• Comply with all quality standards and policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning and maintaining equipment and performing safety inspections.

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship various sized parts to support quick turnaround of orders.
• Fill orders by removing the correct parts from the shelf, identifying part numbers, and ensuring the proper quantity.
• Determine method of shipment and pack accordingly.
• Count, weigh, measure, or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.

• Receive and unpack merchandise and supplies and verify accuracy of deliveries.
• Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Confirm proper location of merchandise.
• Ensure production area organization and cleanliness.
• Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.

• Knowledge typically obtained with a high school or equivalent diploma.
• Dependable attendance and teamwork skills.
• Prior forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing, and use of arms and hands. Concrete and/or metal grating walkways. Lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. Exposure to high, precarious places. Warehouse environment can be hot, cold, or dusty.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. Salary decisions depend on qualifications and business needs.
