Position SummaryNew Castle Community School Corporation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on ensuring all students have access to a high-quality education in the least restrictive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students
- Collaborate with general education teachers and service providers
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliance documentation
- Communicate with families regarding student progress and services
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Valid Indiana Special Education Teaching License
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
