Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow and dialysate flow.;
Evaluate vascular access patency, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as delegated.;
Obtain and record pre- and post-treatment vital signs, weight, and dialysis parameters; monitor response.;
Maintain a safe, clean environment and disinfect dialysis equipment between treatments.;
Document treatment data accurately and communicate changes to the registered nurse or supervisor.
