Job Title: Industrial Wiring Specialist – 2nd Shift

Location: New Castle, PA

Full-Time, Non-Exempt

2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Shift Differential: $1

Starting pay: $18.50/hr

Increase after 90 days: $0.50

An air curtain is a machine that blows a controlled stream of air across an opening to create an air seal. This air seal not only saves energy it also provides comfortable environments by keeping out bugs, dust, fumes, and extreme temperatures.

This position is responsible for completing the assembly and wiring of various air curtain units. The duties include:

• Completing wire starting from a wiring harness
• Cutting, stripping, and crimping as needed
• Dealing with 110v – 600v electrical equipment, depending on the product
• Reading and understanding ladder wire diagram

• Material handling, drilling, inserting rivets and nutserts into metal and aluminum
• Reading mechanical drawings of the air curtains

• Checking voltage with a voltage meter
• Operating the air curtain to ensure the unit is operating as ordered
• Completing the Quality Assurance check sheet
• Energizing motors
• Troubleshooting as needed

• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Working well with fellow assembly workers
• Monitoring inventory as needed
• Ensuring work orders are completed on time
• Maintaining quality control of air curtain units

• Basic electrical wiring, industrial experience preferred
• Must be able to use a tape measure
• Power and air tools
• Must be able to read and interpret visual and written production procedures
• Ability to read wire diagrams
• Must successfully pass pre‑employment screenings

• Ability to shift and push/pull up to 50 pounds and lift to 3–4 feet throughout the day
• Must be able to walk and stand upright in a stationary position for up to 4 hours at a time
• Ability to work in seasonal unconditioned indoor air conditions
