Silgan Closures, a Fortune 500 global leader in sustainable packaging, is hiring Manufacturing Production Associates (Production Team Members) at our New Castle, Pennsylvania facility. This is a full-time 2nd shift manufacturing role offering steady hours, overtime, and long-term career stability. This position is ideal for candidates seeking entry-level manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operator jobs.

This role may also be referred to as:
Production Operator, Machine Operator, Assembly Worker, or Warehouse Production Worker.

What you'll do Operate and monitor automated production and manufacturing equipment

Perform quality inspections on plastic caps and finished products

Identify non-conforming products and report issues to Quality Assurance Maintain production line flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Pack finished goods into cartons and stack boxes (up to 35 lbs)
Label, tape, and prepare products for shipment

Complete production paperwork and document machine performance

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What you'll need to have Ability to lift 15–35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to read and complete production documentation

Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production work is a plus

No experience required – training provided for entry-level candidates
