We are currently seeking a high performing team member to work in our Remelt Department as a Preparation and Finish Operator. We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic and crane operation skills to join our team. The Preparation and Finish Operator plays a vital role in supporting our remelting operations. Working in a dynamic, fastpaced environment, this position follows established Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Instructions to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient processing of customer material.

Under general supervision performs daily and other related duties following established practices set forth in the Operating Procedures Manual and the Manufacturing Instructions Manual.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.

Minimum one (1) year experience in steel manufacturing environment preferred. Remote crane operation experience preferred. Prior shipping experience is preferred.

Theoretical Steelmaking Course (internal class provided once hired)

HS Diploma (required)
