CNC Manual Machinist

The Finish Turn Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a CNC lathe to machine our forged steel rolls. Based on experience, earn up to $30+ per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS (paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment). AND the opportunity to earn even more money per hour with our Production Incentive Bonus Program!

• Set up and operate lathe and controller
• Inspect forging/roll; report any deviation from specification
• Machine forging/roll to specification
• Preventative maintenance on lathe
• Perform other department duties, as assigned

• Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout shift
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
• Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous CNC or machining experience required
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
• Good math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen and physical.
