LPN; Licensed Practical Nurse

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at New Castle is a 62-bed, 4-STAR rated facility looking for dedicated professionals to uphold our high standards for resident care.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) responsibilities include providing care and treatment in accordance with physician orders, working within the scope of practice defined by state, and collaborating with physicians and registered nurses.

• Assesses patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Participates in the care planning process.
• Supervises LPNs and certified nursing assistants.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident’s conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and or federal regulations.
• All other duties assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid State licensure as an LPN or Compact Nursing License.
• Current CPR certification.

We provide full-time evening and night shifts, including 8hr, 12hr, and 16hr shifts. Shift differentials on afternoon, midnight, and weekends.
