Overview
Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Location: New Castle, PA
Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, hybrid work schedule available upon request, Monday to Friday

What is an air curtain?An air curtain, also known as an air door, is a machine that blows a controlled stream of air across an opening to create an air seal. This seal separates different environments while allowing a smooth, uninterrupted flow of traffic and unobstructed vision through the opening.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesOur Inside Sales Representatives are people-oriented, enjoy a fast-paced environment, are detail oriented and can multitask seamlessly. This position is responsible for confirming purchase orders, developing sales quotes, maintaining customer relations, and staying current with Berner product offerings and competitor products. - Provide customer quotations with direction from sales managers
- Understand and interpret technical requirements and information for various product lines
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and spec sheets
- Confirm incoming purchase orders
- Calculate sales representative commissions
- Follow up on customer quotes
- Maintain documents, files, and correspondence
- Assist other members of the team, as needed
- Prepare submittals, wiring diagrams, data sheets, etc. from various source programs
- Maintain knowledge of competitor product offerings
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers
- …and other duties as assigned.
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable taking and making calls with customers
- Highly organized and able to prioritize
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
- Experience in HVAC or electrical industrial sales preferred
- Associates or bachelor’s in business or sales preferred, not required
