What You'll Do – Key Responsibilities In this dynamic inside sales role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for our customers while leveraging your technical knowledge of glass fabrication. Daily responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional customer support via phone, email, and occasional in‑person meetings
- Listening to customer needs and recommending customized solutions that align with our fabrication capabilities (including tempering, cutting, edging, polishing, notching, drilling, lamination, insulated units, and more)
- Accurately processing and managing orders from quote to fulfillment, ensuring timely and error‑free delivery
- Reading and interpreting detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify key requirements
- Performing precise calculations for quoting, glass sizing, pricing, and material estimates
- Guiding customers smoothly through the entire sales cycle—from initial inquiry and consultation to order confirmation and follow‑up
- Juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining strong organization and time management
What We're Looking For – Required Skills & Qualifications No college degree is required—we prioritize hands‑on experience, enthusiasm, and the ability to learn quickly. Ideal candidates bring:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Solid proficiency with Windows‑based systems and Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong overall computer skills (you'll complete a short computer skills assessment during the process)
- Willingness and ability to develop deep expertise in glass types, fabrication techniques, processes, and limitations
- A customer‑focused mindset with the aptitude to thrive in a technical, service‑oriented sales environment
