About the Role
This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus! The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean‑up and preparation for transportation of Hazardous and Non‑Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician I is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.
PositionResponsibilities
- Safely operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws.
- Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non‑Hazardous materials.
- Remove materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
- Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
- Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.
- Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
- Act as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
- Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school Diploma or GED preferred. Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
- Ability to travel 10–25% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Physical demands: walk, stand, sit, climb; lift/carry 50lbs; work from heights and in confined spaces; qualify to wear a full‑face respirator; consistently work in various weather conditions.

Pay TransparencyThe pay range for the primary location of this position is $35,300.00 - $47,000.00 USD. This range reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role. The final salary offered will be determined based on factors including experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts.
