About the Role
This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus!
The Field Service Technician II is responsible for cleaning and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste. They perform tasks including loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, inspecting equipment, hoses, and connections, and performing confined space entry. They operate equipment such as pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools with minimal supervision in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable laws.
A valid state driver’s license is required.
- Drive a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport waste to designated locations safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, and secure cargo before and during transport.
- Use hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader, specialty vacuum equipment, and/or other equipment as needed to work related to chemical, oil, and water spills.
- Complete critical path documentation such as manifests, driver logs, job summaries, permits, etc.
- Work in confined spaces above & below ground and on & under equipment.
- Communicate with Project Manager and on‑site customers.
- Perform daily work related to confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, hand tools, and any other required tools.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- One year of experience.
- Experience in construction preferred.
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Outlook and Netsuite an advantage.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Ability to use heavy, light, and handheld equipment (forklift, track hoe, backhoe, skid steer, etc.).
- Comfort working outside in varying weather conditions and noise levels.
- Ability to complete pre‑employment drug screen, physical, background check, motor vehicle report, and review of employment and criminal history records.
- Pass the respirator fit test.

Pay TransparencyReworld’s estimated base pay for this role in the primary location is $38,800.00 - $51,700.00 USD. The final salary will depend on experience, education, location, skills, travel requirements, and other factors.
