Position Overview

Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean‑up and preparation of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste for transportation. The role includes loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, inspecting equipment, hoses and connections, and performing confined‑space entry.

• Safely operate equipment such as pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies, procedures and OSHA requirements, as well as all applicable local, state and federal laws.
• Handle, package and transport both hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
• Remove materials from tanks, pits or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Perform daily confined‑space entry, using mechanical, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, hand tools and other tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Act as a professional representative of Reworld while working autonomously at customer sites.
• Comply with OSHA health and safety rules and complete required training provided by Reworld.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reworld offers a fully funded GED Works program for employees to obtain their GED.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.

• Ability to walk, stand, sit and climb.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
• Must be qualified to wear a full‑face respirator.
• Consistently work in various weather conditions.

16.97 - 22.60 USD per hour, based on the primary location of the position. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as experience, education, geographic location, skills, travel requirements and/or union contracts.
